“Suffering presents us with a challenge: to find our goals and purpose in our lives that make even the worst situation worth living through.” - Viktor Frankl, Psychiatrist, Holocaust Survivor
Laura helps her clients find meaning in their suffering and move from hurt to healing. Guiding people through the challenges of trauma, neglect, transitions, injury, and anxiety are Laura’s primary areas of expertise.
A lifetime athlete, Laura ran collegiate cross-country and played softball, learning the importance of discipline, teamwork, and pushing through physical and mental pain. Although raised primarily near Atlanta, Laura comes from a loud and loving New York, Italian family.
Laura formerly served on the staffs of Fellowship of Christian Athletes and Campus Outreach. During this time, she experienced the freedom that people receive when they are able to share their story with a caring person. Laura learned how this freedom motivates people to effect change and escape the prison of past that haunts us.
Laura is married, with three children. She enjoys family movie night with the kids, is active with CrossFit and running, and runs in the annual Nashville RockNRoll Half Marathon. She loves cooking, watching “The Office”, traveling, being on the water, eating seafood, cooking, and trying new foods.
