"Part of getting to know yourself is to unknow yourself – to let go of the limiting stories you’ve told yourself about who you are so that you aren’t trapped by them." - Lori Gottlieb
Lauren previously worked in a corporate setting, so she understands the demands of work-life stressors. From this perspective, she is able to help her clients manage and sustain balanced living. Lauren is particularly helpful in guiding couples and individuals through conflict and emotional disconnection.
Lauren enjoys helping clients who are experiencing loud inner critics or defeating self-narratives. She steers her clients towards healing by increasing their self-compassion and believing in their own worthiness. Through this process, Lauren’s clients learn to move towards healthy connection with themselves and relationships.
Lauren has a genuine love for traveling abroad and studying language. She lived abroad for extensive periods of time in Spain, Argentina, and Denmark. A lifetime athlete, Lauren can still hold her own on the soccer field and basketball court. Her competitive but easygoing nature fosters a client-therapist relationship of growth and support.
